Welcome to Ozark Safety and Rescue Educators.
Ozark Safety and Rescue Educators (OSRE) has been operating continuosly as the region's primary provider of Safety and Rescue training since 2006. Based in Winslow, Arkansas in the Clear Creek Headwaters, we operate out of 19 acres of rugged forest that allows for numerous training opportunities including high angle work and challenging evacuation problems.
Heavily involved with the Local community, the Director is also the Team Leader for the local Search and Rescue team and several of our instructors are NASAR Search and Rescue Technicians who respond to local and regional callouts. By using the techniques we teach on a regular basis as 911 responders, this keeps our feet planted solidly in the reality of field operations and allows our programs to be some of the most up to date in the country.
For when "911" is not a ready option. We offer experiential based medical programs for folks who find themselves off the beaten path. Basic Wilderness First Aid through Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness EMT programs are offered regularly.
In today's world of high stakes operations, having a second opinion can be a valuable asset.
With over 23 years in the field of rescue and safely, and many years of working with outdoor programs, we can offer insight and guidance in creating safe and rewarding outdoor programing that meets the needs of your organization and your insurers
